WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Ali B.

We can’t recommend Leah enough!!! We were struggling with creating the best sleep plan for our 3 month old baby boy, and within just a few days of following Leah’s guidance, we saw a dramatic improvement. Leah took the time to understand our needs and provided a personalized sleep plan that was both gentle and effective. She also followed up with us throughout the week on our progress and made suggestions when we had any setbacks. Our little guy sleeps most nights through the night, and we finally feel rested again!! HUGE for new parents!! If you’re on the fence about hiring a sleep consultant, trust me- reach out to Leah and you and your family will wish you did it sooner!

Leah is AMAZING! After night one, my newborn had his first 7-hour sleep stretch, and by the end of our time together…he was sleeping through the night for a full 11 hours. Leah is caring, communicative, proactive and warm. Cannot recommend her services more.

Leah was amazing! She gave such great advice and put us on a plan immediately. We were having a hard time getting our 21 month old to fall asleep at night. It was starting to make bedtime torturous. Within 3 nights she was able to help us get our toddler into her crib and asleep within 15 minutes - no issues. She also was super responsive throughout the week when I texted her for assistance. I highly recommend if you need support with your child! So grateful for all her help.

  • What does a sleep consultant do?
A sleep consultant is a professional who helps babies create healthy sleep habits. They assess current sleep challenges and create customized, step-by-step sleep plans based on the child's age, temperaments, and needs. Sleep consultants offer personalized coaching and support to parents who need help establishing age appropriate sleep schedules and assist with transitions and regressions.
  • How do I know if my baby/toddler/child needs sleep training?
Not every child needs sleep training! Here are some signs your child might need help: Frequent night wakings - waking up multiple times in the night and needs help falling back asleep Short naps - Naps only last less than one hour Inconsistent schedule - daily routines are challenging because schedules are inconsistent Trouble falling asleep and/or staying asleep - takes a long time to settle and might fight bedtime Depends on sleep props to be able to fall asleep - rocking, nursing, motion, pacifiers
  • Is my baby too young to sleep train?
3 months or under: Focus on setting up good habits and forming sleep foundations 4-6 months: Can introduce a more structured schedule and a great time to begin sleep training 6+ months: Perfect time to sleep train and help babies settle themselves Toddlers and children: Ideal to introduce good habits and healthy sleep choices at this age
  • How many naps should my baby be taking?
Around 4 or 5 months, babies will drop from 4 naps to 3, and around 5-6 months, they will drop from 3 to 2. When babies are showing signs of wanting to drop a nap, it is actually better for them to have less daytime sleep so they sleep better at night! 0-8 weeks: 4+ naps 3 months: 4 naps 4 months: 3-4 naps 5 months: 3 naps 6 months 2-3 naps
  • When will my baby start to sleep through the night?
Somewhere between 3-6 months, babies should be able to sleep about 8-12 hours at night. Some 5 month olds may need one feeding at night. Most 6 month olds are physically capable of sleeping through the night. By 3 months, sleep habits are beginning to set.
  • How do I handle sleep regressions?
Sleep regressions are temporary disruptions to a baby/child's sleep. They are common during developmental changes, teething, or illness. The best way to tackle regressions are: Stay consistent Encourage independent sleep Age appropriate wake windows Offer comfort Sleep environment Know it's temporary!
